With the introduction of the EIRCODE system back in 2014, the goal has been to assign a unique code to each place of delivery. Whether you are looking for a house, building, business or land eventually they will get their own unique EIRCODE.
EIRCODEs are typically found at the end of an Irish address. Some addresses in Ireland do not have EIRCODEs just yet. In this article we show you how to find an EIRCODE and what to do should one not be found.
Using the EIRCODE Finder Utility you can enter the address or even GPS coordinates that will help to identify the EIRCODE of the address.
What about GPS?
GPS can be a great option should you know the “Latitude” and “Longitude” of a location, but it may return multiple addresses and EIRCODEs. Our search tool will provide you with our best guess of the address and EIRCODEs in the vicinity.
Addresses?
If you have most of the address, our tool can be a great help to you finding the EIRCODE. You simply input as much of the address as you have and then press search. The system will look up the address and attempt to return the EIRCODE for the address. Unfortunately, not all addresses at this time have an EIRCODE. You can request an EIRCODE from the EIRCODE authority.
Forwards, Backwards and in Between?
Our EIRCODE utility can be great for both forward, reverse and the verification of EIRCODEs. If you have additional questions be sure to check out the articles section of our website to learn more about the EIRCODE system.
